My favourite line in this piece is, “Then I clapped for her boots.” I felt like I had a delightful night out with you and Holly. Thanks for sharing the joy!
I was with a friend when she bought some totally gorgeous, subtly-sparkly soft pink boots. Both of us applauded the purchase destined to be initiated at an oceanside beach wedding—of all the places to launch the joy in wearing those wear-anywhere boots.
A wild applause for this piece, Karen. I love it. I’ve always loved watching the face of an artist when they receive their applause. Sometimes you can sense when the piece of art becomes its own thing and the artist is just appreciating it alongside the audience. That is like magic when it happens.
A warm, emotive and touching story - a welcome foil to the grating and cries of a humanity which displays too little of your story's core focus and too much of the opposite.

This is wonderful!
"Clap whenever you can. Give the love" and "Take a bow every now and then. Receive the love". 👏👏👏
Thanks Tracy!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your quirky, funny, and beautiful voice! It makes me smile everytime;
Love that you clapped for those fabulous boots!
